Editing Lore:Letter from Thaddeus, to Kenzie (journal)

Hey kid,

Thought about farcalling you but an apology letter is easier for me to avoid that simmering stare of yours. You know the one. But you also deserve an explanation for me leaving without a word.

Back when we were clearing out the library, I found out some folks might've caught wind of my whereabouts. I don't mean those nitwits from the Palathon, but a few real bad-to-know types. Hexbrands from an old rival, most like. Anyways, it was high time I cleared out. Thought it best that if you didn't know anything about where I went, the better it was going to work out for you if they ever showed.

That's what I told myself anyway.

Now I'm keenly aware that my prime social attribute is being a disappointment to others, but I hope this belated plea for your forgiveness might find a way around that. I'm sorry, kid. I should have just told you what was what. Something tells me you would've had my back.
