Editing Immortals of Aveum:Yltheum (mission)

Yltheum is a mission early in ''Immortals of Aveum'' which opens on Jak and Kirkan defending a tower against Sandrakk's forces. Jak has to head to the front lines to shore up the defense, but is picked up by a Howler and dropped further off into the ruins. As be attempts to make his way back, he discovers that the Hand of Sandrakk is searching for something away from the battlefield and follows her into a temple. Jak attempts to stop her, but she escapes with an artifact. As Jak makes his way back to he fights and defeats the Howler. After the battle is won, Kirkan tells him that he is now allowed to to go Selection and become an Immortal. 

This mission was shown off during the May 25th preview event.

==Walkthrough==
The mission opens with Jak inside a fortress. Shelling can be heard outside and

'''Objective: Reach the Forward Bastion''' 

After the cinematic, go down stairs and turn right. Keep moving forward and avoid the artillery blasts. You will fight groups of Rasharnian Archers and Swordsmen in the trenches until you reach the front lines and meet a new enemy: the Brute.

After the Brute is defeated, go inside the bunker. You will receive a tutorial about Arcanum. After the tutorial, use the door on your left to exit to the Forward Bastion. Shoot the Archers below you. After a short while, a Howler will arrive and grab Jak, carrying him up and over the battlefield. After Jak shoots the Howler in the mouth, the creature drops him to the ruins below. 

'''Objective: Return to the Tower''' 

After getting up, Jak receives a communication from Kirkan, who tells him to return back to the battle as soon as possible if he wants to join the Immortals. As you proceed down the side of the cliffs, you will pass an overgrown fallen Colossal and see a Rasharnian ship flying off to the north. Continue down the cliffs. There will be a small combat in a canyon, and a larger one in the ruins after it. 

After the combat in the larger ruins, proceed up the stairs in the back. You will hit another fallen Colossal, and need to make your way up its body. Once on top, you will have a small combat with the new Grenadier enemy.

In another section of ruins, you will find a plinth with a new Fury spell: Blastwave. Jump down into the courtyard and defeat the enemies. Once everyone is dead, a door will open on the side of the courtyard opposite of where you found the spell. Go through it.

In a cinematic, Jak sees the Rasharnian ship again. He realizes that it belongs to the Hand of Sandrakk: a powerful magnus and a lieutenant of Sandrakk. He calls Kirkan to give her the intel as the Hand and her troops disembark and blow a hole in the ground into the ruins. Kirkan tells Jak not to engage, which he immediately disregards. 

Complete the combat and jump into the hole.

This combat consists of two Brutes. You can use the new Limpets spell to slow them down. 

'''Objective: Kill the Howler'''

The Howler lands just outside the walls, and Jak is forced to fight it. 

After the Howler is defeated, we see Jak returning to the fort alongside other soldiers. Kirkan tells him that the Rasharnians are retreating, and he played a part in that. As a reward, she allows him to go to the Palathon and go through Selection to become and Immortal.
