The Immortals were once led by a guy named Thaddeus, Kirkan's predecessor as Grand Magnus. He left the order for reasons no one wants to talk about. Curious. Finally found Thaddeus in a... volcano castle because why not. He's a grizzled spellslinger straight out of one of Luna's old adventure books. Not at all what I expected from a former Grand Magnus of the order elite of Lucium.

The old wizard is tougher than I thought. I was sure he died during Rasharn's attack on his fortress and he never contacted me after to say different. Now Thaddeus wants to meet about Sandrakk... and I've got a sneaking suspicion that someone else has come back from the dead.

10th of the Month of Retreat
So the old timer's decided to sell his fortress and hit the tropics. Part of me wants to join in. I could use a vacation in K'Ley. I don't know how to swim (no one from Seren does), so that might be a problem.
