There was a lad who came to walk

the docks of Port K'Ley

‘pon his shoulder, wee Bloodlash no older

than two weeks and nearly a day

When I stopped this cocky lad and

said, ho! What have you to say?

He turned and smiled

smug eyes all wild

I've come to save the day!

He fought for us on Ashen Shores

The ‘lith that set a flame

The seas of colored sands a far

All 'sharns to fear his name!

Historical Note: This is a more contemporary piece (only a few decades old). "Captain Bloodlash" is a moniker for a contemporary folk hero, whose real name is Kaylen of House Vishili. He is from a long line of seers and befriended Chickles when the bloodlash was only newly hatched and had not yet imprinted itself upon its hive.
