The Aristeyan ghost-machine-guy gave me a way to control the Binding Stone, the same magical Mark that Sandrakk has. There was another Mark he could have granted me-- one that could be used to destroy the Binding Stone instead-- but Lucium needs this weapon. We can end the Everwar with it. Kirkan and the others will understand that when I've defeated Sandrakk and taken the Binding Stone from him. Until then, I'll keep what I've done a secret.

The shackles holding our magic in check-- I broke them. For every magnus across Aveum, I think. Through my Mark, I'm able to undo what Sandrakk's done with the Binding Stone. This is a game changer.
